Compilation Copyright

As described in CopyRight, while contributors retain the copyright to their own original material which is submitted to this Cookbook web site ("the Cookbook"), contributors agree that the people named in ErlangEditorsGroup ("the Erlang Editors") will obtain the exclusive copyright to any compilation of the submitted materials, if such compilation is in any way based on the classification information associated with each submitted entry, as described below.

The Cookbook consists of submitted material which is arranged as a compilation, based on classification information which is associated with each submitted entry. This classification information is stored in a form, named CookbookForm, attached to each entry. This form consists of the fields Topic Type, Parent Topic, and Topic Order.

Any compilation of materials from the Cookbook which is selected, arranged, or otherwise based on the abovementioned classification information, will be copyright by the ErlangEditorsGroup. The Erlang Editors have the right to print, publish, distribute, and sell copies of such compilations as a book, and works derived from such a book, in printed form and in electronic media, to translate it, and to license others to do so, for the duration of the copyright in such book, in all languages, throughout the world.
