Commenting Out Code

Problem

You want to comment out some Scheme code.

Solution

In addition to the R5RS standard ; comment character, PltScheme also supports block and expression comments. The pair #| and |# start and end a block comment. The sequence #; comments out the following expression.

For example:

  ; This is commented out
  #| So is this |#
  #;(and so is this expression)
